ArgusSearch works language-independent within seconds over selected folders or all pictures on your device. This image full-text search makes it possible to find handwritten (script) and typed texts (Latin) in photos.
The complete processing runs 100% on your local device and therefore protects your privacy.
ArgusSearch is bringing a high-end Artificial Intelligence (AI) assistent on your device. It combines latest state of the art AI for text recognition with Planet AI pending patent technology of the PerceptionMatrix. It runs without using any cloud service and therefore it perfectly protects your private data. ArgusSearch will find any texts even very difficult handwritings with high accuracy.
Currently ArgusSearch works for latin characters only (no cyrillic, arabic, chinese), but extending it towards other character domains as well as for speech is in preparation.
For optimal search results we have the following 3 recommendations for you:
1. Key in your requests by using only basic characters (e.g. A instead of Å, Á)
Since ArgusSearch is within latin character domain widely language independent (works for German, English, Spanish, French, Swedish, Czech etc). Some of these languages are using language specific characters, please use only basic characters for the search phrase.
2. Indexing run on launch of the App
When launching ArgusSearch on your device it will need a certain time (depends on the amount of images) to take a short look at each of your images to create an image-index on your device. This process runs in background without any external services solely on device, the progress is shown in the App.
3. Help us teaching the Artificial Intelligence
Artificial Intelligence has a great potential, but like us human beeings it is not perfect, it has to learn from its mistakes and from time to time it even needs encouragement. Help us teaching ArgusSearch in the right way and give us your feedback!
